How we countedWhat the writer is trying to say.
Writers use at scale to reassure larger buyers that the product won’t break as they grow, and to tell smaller buyers they won’t have to switch tools later. Both are legitimate concerns, especially for teams that have outgrown software before.
Why it stops working.
At scale is a promise without a number. “Deliverability at scale” and “secure APIs at scale” don’t say whether the product handles a thousand accounts or ten million, so the reader who actually worries about scale learns nothing they can use.
Scales with you has the opposite problem for small buyers, hinting that the product is built for someone bigger, without saying what they will pay or do differently as they grow.
